“Si vis pacem, para bellum”
“If you want peace, prepare for war. In other words, if you want peace of mind, prepare for trial by doing the work.”
After graduating from college, Beau Shrable enrolled in law school. Less than a month into his first semester, the attacks and conflict unfolding in the Middle East compelled him to put law school on hold and enlist in the United States Army.
Beau served in Iraq as an Infantry Officer and was honorably discharged as a Captain having earned the coveted Ranger Tab.
Following his military service, Beau returned to law school while continuing to serve in the Georgia Army National Guard. During his final two years of law school, he worked full time for a personal injury law firm while earning cum laude honors.
Hard work has defined Beau’s life from an early age. At 12 years old, he earned his first paycheck pulling red rice by hand in Arkansas for $5 an hour. That work ethic still drives him today. Beau believes nothing is more rewarding than going home exhausted at the end of the day knowing he earned what the day provided.
One year after graduating from law school, Beau founded Shrable Law Firm with a laptop, two clients, and the $5,000 he had saved during his military service.
Through God’s provision, hard work, and relentless preparation, the firm grew rapidly.
Less than a year after passing the bar, an insurance company Beau had sued approached him about handling defense work. As a young lawyer building his practice, he accepted the opportunity. Over the next 15 years, Beau litigated or tried nearly a thousand cases on behalf of insurance companies, corporations, and self-insured businesses.
He represented insurers including GEICO, Auto-Owners Insurance, USAA, Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance, Grange Insurance, and The Hartford, along with self-insured companies and long-term care facilities throughout South Georgia.
That experience gave Beau something most personal injury lawyers never get: firsthand knowledge of how insurance companies evaluate claims, defend lawsuits, and attempt to minimize payouts.
Today, Beau devotes his practice entirely to representing injured people and their families.
