Trevor J. Vanzant
“I’m ready to use the litigation skills I’ve learned to fight for your ideal outcome.”
Trevor J. Vanzant is a native of the Americus area, having returned home after graduating from Mercer University School of Law in 2017. While in law school Trevor was a member of the Student Bar Association and Trial Advocacy Council. He was a quarter-finalist for the Costello National Mock Trial Competition in Fairfax, Virginia. During his third year of law school, Trevor clerked with the Bibb County Public Defender’s Office where he assisted in defending individuals charged with felony property crimes.
After graduation, Trevor took a position as an Assistant District Attorney for the Southwestern Judicial Circuit, where he gained extensive experience prosecuting both misdemeanor and felony offenses. During his career as an ADA, Trevor’s passion for trial work and innate litigation skills led him to be trusted as the second chair for two murder trials that returned verdicts of guilty. He remained at the District Attorney’s Office for over three years before deciding to branch out into more diverse areas of law by joining the Shrable Law Firm. Trevor now focuses his practice primarily only on insurance defense, civil litigation, and general litigation where he will be able to focus his skills on advocating for his clients both in and out of the courtroom. When not at the office, Trevor can be found spending time with his wife, Brittany, and their beautiful daughter, Bentley.
Trevor is a great attorney and wonderful person. He puts his clients first and remains well-suited to advocate on their behalf. At the same time, he upholds the highest levels of integrity and professional responsibility.
